Accessibility

The College holds numerous events and other activities which are open to the public. Assessments have been made of all College buildings to which the public are given access and all limitations to access are taken into account in planning events and activities and making buildings available. The South and North Blocks where the fair is held have limited wheelchair access due to the steepness of the ramps required (Accessibility Plan PDF).

However, every year we have many wheelchair users who enjoy the fair. If you need help just ask a marshal.

Site

In 2023 we will be hosting the Dulwich College Christmas Fair in the historic Barry Buildings and surrounding areas with a KidZone in the Auditorium and Santa's Grotto in the main school Reception area.

Tea, coffee, cake and mulled wine will be available at a small charge in the dedicated Santa's Waiting Room located off the North Gravel in the Staff Common Room.

Great Hall

A magnificent space that is the heart of the Barry Buildings.
Please note that a strict one way system applies and the Great Hall may only be accessed from the North Cloister staircase and exited via the South Cloister Staircase from where you can reach the Lower Hall and then move on into the South Cloister and Street Food Market

Lower Hall

Beneath the Great Hall of Dulwich College at Ground Floor Level.

North Cloister

The cloister is a comfortable space hosting a wide variety of stalls and leading through to the Great Hall and Lower Hall.

South Cloister

The cloister is a comfortable space hosting a wide variety of stalls and leading through to the Street Food Market and more outside stalls.

Street Food Market

The Street Food Market is located outside the South Cloister on the South Gravel. Head straight there on your arrival to sample the wide variety of food available or see what the Fair has to offer before enjoying a late lunch and more browsing at the outside stalls located on both the North and South Gravels.

North Gravel

New for 2022, the North Gravel is located outside with competitively priced stalls to encourage new entrants to promote their business at the Fair. These stalls are the first ones to be reached as visitors arrive at the Fair and are also located in a PRIME LOCATION adjacent to the Street Food Market and the entrance to Santa's Grotto.
Stallholders must provide their own gazebo and furniture and the standard cancellation policy will apply regardless of weather conditions.
